The Admission Unit organizes the application and acceptance processes for those wishing to study, and receive their applications at the beginning of the second semester. The study begins with the beginning of the first semester of each academic year. The Admissions Unit also supervises receiving applications from non-Saudi applicants for scholarship programs from inside and outside the Kingdom.
Unit tasks:
- Coordinating with officials in the Deanship to receive the colleges’ recommendations regarding the programs and seats allocated for admission annually and presenting them to the Council of the Deanship of Graduate Studies to be submitted to the University Council. Then prepare it in the appropriate way to advertise it in newspapers and the electronic portal.
- Electronic follow-up to receive applications for admission to graduate studies in coordination with the Information Technology and Technical Support Center, or receive them as handling if necessary.
- Receiving the files of applicants for postgraduate studies, ensuring that they meet the admission requirements, and giving students notifications of receiving their files.
- Sorting and classifying files and preparing them in lists to be sent to the concerned departments to complete the admission procedures.
- Follow-up the results of admission to the departments with the Deanship of Admission and Registration; To issue the final decisions for admission and record the results in the database of the Deanship.
- Issuing notices of accepted students, and preparing their files for submission to the Dean’s registrars at the beginning of each academic year.
